BANKING SCENARIO AND MBGB.

There has been a sea change in the area of banking. Banks are almost independent to frame their own policies. The rates of interest are de-controlled. Economy has opened up. With the advent of new generation private sector banks, competition in banking has become intense. MBGB is also gearing up its working and thinking process to meet the competition with greater success. MBGB is now fully CBS and is laying greater emphasis on training of its staff improvement in infrastructure and ambiance of its branches. Since the Government is laying greater emphasis on second green revolution with increased financial assistance to Agriculture sector, we, MBGB are also fully committed to development of agriculture. Another area of focus is Financial Inclusion; we are committed to provide banking services to 900 plus unbanked villages.
